Prescription & Ordering Guide

Please review this simple guide to help you find your correct parameters and complete your custom toric lens order.

1. How Your Order Works

Since every pair of TORICA lenses is custom-made to match your exact prescription, here is a quick overview of our fulfillment process.

2. How to Enter Your Prescription

You can provide your prescription in two ways:

  • Dropdown Selection
    Select your SPH (Sphere), CYL, and AXIS values for each eye on the product page.

  • Upload Prescription Image
    Upload a clear photo or PDF of your official prescription.

    (If selected dropdown values differ from your uploaded image, lenses will be made according to the dropdown selections.

3. How to Read Your Prescription

Here is a simple guide to understanding the terms and acronyms on your prescription chart:

  • OD = Right Eye / OS = Left Eye

  • SPH (Sphere): Lens power for nearsightedness (minus - powers only)

  • CYL (Cylinder): Astigmatism correction power (minus - powers only)

  • AXIS: Astigmatism orientation angle (5° to 180°)

  • BC (Base curve)

4. Contact Lens Rx vs. Eyeglass Rx

Please make sure to submit a Contact Lens Prescription (CLRx).

Because glasses sit a short distance away from your eyes while contact lenses rest directly on your cornea, their required powers can differ. Ordering with an unadjusted Eyeglass Prescription (SRx) may cause eye strain, headaches, or blurred vision due to incorrect lens power.
